Trash Priest is an ever-evolving art collective, formed by Price Latimer and her cousin/frequent collaborator, Tennessee Hamilton. In its current incarnation, Trash Priest is primarily a source of ancestral healing and obstacle annihilation through ritualized movement and performance art. The practice draws on inspiration from Butoh, Alejandro Jodorowsky, intuition and the artists’ various spiritual practices. In a former iteration, Trash Priest was an experimental noise band that wove together elements of doom, goth, surf, riot grrrl and demon exorcisms.
