…of Phil Spector
“In those days I was so brazen, I could strut sitting down.” – Phil Spector
In his new documentary, filmmaker Vikram Jayanti (co-producer of When We Were Kings and creative consultant for Born Into Brothels) sits down for a in-depth conversation with musical genius / madman and convicted-murderer, Phil Spector. Among the many amazing and revelatory moments in the film, my favorite is when Phil Spector concedes that the hairdo that he sported on his first day in court was a tribute to Detroit Piston Ben Wallace. No joke.
