Banksy’s dubious documentary

Exit Through The Gift Shop is an hilarious and entertaining documentary that sets out to trace the history of contemporary street art, spanning nearly 10 years and several continents, but ends up taking quite a few unanticipated turns.  It’s definitely worth the watch.  Keep an eye out for “Bat Papi” and check out this recent article in NY Mag, which poses the question: Is Banksy’s Mr. Brainwash an Art-World Borat? Starring: Banksy, Thierry Guetta, Shepard Fairey, and narrated by Rhys Ifans.
